Pound ASSISTANCE

In the UK dogs that are found straying or handed into the care of the local authority have 7 days for their owner to come forward. After the 7 days they are either euthanised or given to a rescue for rehoming. We assist with local pounds as a middle ground to help get as many dogs into rescue as possible. The pound provide us with a brief assessment, photos and any health concerns and we then contact our vast network to secure a rescue space. Sometimes this can involve arranging transport, emergency boarding kennels or further assessments to secure places.
